Cookie Policy

Effective May 2, 2026

1. Introduction

Wheva Inc. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is building a collaboration platform for professionals who support neurodivergent individuals.

This policy explains how and when we and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies (together, “cookies”) on our website (the “Site”). Terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in our Privacy Policy, which also covers how we collect and use personal information more generally.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. For general background, see aboutcookies.org.

3. How Wheva uses cookies

We use cookies to operate the Site, to recognize you across visits, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. Cookies also help us measure the reach of our content and deliver information about our Services to people who may be interested.

We group cookies into three categories. You can control each category (other than Necessary) from our cookie banner or from the Privacy choices link in the footer of any page.

PurposeDescription
NecessaryRequired for the Site to function. Supports core features such as security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and remembering your cookie choices. Does not require your consent.
AnalyticsHelp us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve performance and content. Collects aggregated data like pages viewed and device or browser information. Set only after you opt in.
MarketingHelp us measure the effectiveness of our marketing and present content about Wheva that may be relevant to you, on our Site or elsewhere. Set only after you opt in.

4. How long cookies stay on your device

Cookies are either:

  • Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

Your cookie choice itself is stored for up to 180 days. After that, we will ask you again.

When you first visit the Site, our cookie banner lets you:

  • Accept all cookies.
  • Reject all optional cookies.
  • Customize your choices by category (Analytics, Marketing).

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking Privacy choices in the footer of any page.

Most browsers also let you remove or manage cookies directly. To learn how, open the “Help” menu in your browser or visit aboutcookies.org/how-to-control-cookies. Because browsers and devices differ, you may need to take additional steps to opt out on each one. If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as expected.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to this signal, so we currently do not respond to it. We honor the choices you make in our cookie banner instead.

6. Third parties

Some cookies are set by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these third parties or their cookies. Please review their own policies for more information. The main third-party service we currently use is:

  • Google Analytics (Analytics category), operated by Google LLC. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which means Google Analytics only receives information about your visit after you opt in.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

8. Contact us
